PADI Open Water Diver Class and Pool

The Weekend Executive Course covers all the academics (eLearning) and pool dives in a single weekend. Before this pool we have a weekday evening Zoom call, Friday evening at the shop, with Saturday and Sunday being the confined water (pool) days.

This program is recommended for people age 13 and up who are comfortable swimming and are in good physical condition. This course, followed by Open Water Certification Dives, will teach you everything you need to independently scuba dive with a buddy to explore & discover the underwater world.

Dexter Wylie Community Pool (Dexter).

Full details will be provided at the time of signup with where to be, and what time for each session.

Equipment provided by student:

Each Student must have own mask, fins, snorkel and boots to participate.

All Huron Scuba students in Open Water Diver qualify for a special discount when purchasing gear for this program. Details at signup.

Purchase your own scuba equipment package & use it during your lessons and you can save up to an additional $100
($50 if used in pool, $50 if used in open water dives)

Equipment provided by Huron Scuba:

Scuba equipment including BCD, all tanks, weights, wet suits, regulators and dive computers.

Course cost:

$999 Class/Pool program, Includes PADI Enriched Air-Nitrox specialty (a $299 value).

This option does not include certification dives. This option will prepare you to finish your certification with us at a later date, or any other PADI dive center in the world. This is an option that many of our students select who want to do the class and pool here, and complete their training on vacation or somewhere outside of our local options.

$1199 Class/Pool/Certification Dives program, Includes PADI Enriched Air-Nitrox specialty (a $299 value) AND certification dives (a $299 value). Separate sign-up required.

We can help you find a PADI dive center to complete your training depending upon your vacation destination.

$400 non-refundable deposit required to secure your spot. Once paid you will also get your eLearning codes so you can start homework today for both Open Water Diver, and Enriched Air Specialty Diver.
