Join the Huron Scuba Dive Team on its Fun Dive schedule with over thirty local events year-round. These
include simple weeknight dives, organized weekend quarry dives, chartered boat diving to the well-preserved
shipwrecks of The Great Lakes, and trips to other events. See our Dive Team’s flyer for more details. If
you are reading this flyer, you are already a member of the Huron Scuba Dive Team. Let’s go diving!

Here are a few of our favorite dives in North America - we frequently run
group trips to these destinations (see home page for
current list), and set up private itineraries for
individuals, couples, and small groups.
-
Alpena, Michigan: On the shores of
Thunder Bay, Alpena is the diver's gateway
to the shipwrecks of the Thunder Bay
National Marine Sanctuary.
-
Bonne Terre Mine, Missouri: The world's
best indoor dive site, Bonne Terre is a
massive underground lake in a former mine. A
unique experience that has to be seen!
-
Channel Islands, California: Kelp
forests, sea lions, and incredible sea life
populate the Channel Islands, a sanctuary
just off the shores of San Diego and
Ventura, California. Another great reason to
become a drysuit diver.
-
Port Sanilac
& Harbor Beach:
Just a two hour drive from Ann Arbor, Port
Sanilac offers a healthy variety of
shipwrecks at recreational depths. Join us
for a day or a weekend diving a selection of
these wrecks. Popular wrecks include the
Regina, the Sport, the Mary Alice B., the
North Star, and the Col. A. B. Williams. For
advanced and technical divers, the Checotah
and the New York are draws.
-
Tobermory, Ontario:
This is our most popular trip! Join us for a weekend of Great Lakes diving, history, and shore activities
on Ontario’s beautiful Bruce Peninsula. We’ve chartered three of the best boats in the harbor so that each
diver may make the most of their visits to an amazing variety of wrecks. Diver packages include accommodations,
four morning boat dives, unlimited shore diving, all airfills,
Huron Scuba trip leadership, and breakfasts.
-
Straits of Mackinac: Enjoy a weekend
diving in Mackinac Straits. Experience the
thrill of swimming through the break in the
Cedarville, a massive ore carrier
that split in two after a collision in 1965.
Marvel at the structure of the Eber Ward
and speandor of the newly discovered Maitland. This package
includes four boat dives and accommodations
in Mackinaw City.
-
Schooner Cruising off the coast of Maine:
Not exactly a diving trip (you won't get wet
unless you fall off the boat!), this is a
great opportunity to see the workings of a
genuine schooner, much like the ones we dive
here in the Great Lakes. Enjoy the scenic
beauty and rugged terrain of coastal Maine.

At Huron Scuba, we’ll use our years of experience to put together a package with the best value for your vacation time and
money. We personally visit the resorts and dive with the dive operators, and can recommend which ones to go with – and which
ones to avoid! Send us e-mail, or stop by, and we can book your complete package for you.
