Huron Scuba has the hottest ticket in scuba diving - a GUARANTEED in-water encounter with whale sharks!

The Huron Scuba Dive Team has planned a weekend excursion to the Georgia Aquarium. In the past they have been a huge hit with our dive team customers. Located in Atlanta, GA it is the world's largest aquarium with, among other many other exhibits and creatures, WHALE SHARKS and now two MANTA RAYS.  There will be an optional "Behind the Scenes Tour" as well for those guests who are not diving with the sharks (the divers get to see a lot of the behind the scenes action as part of their tour). The tours show us how the aquarium cares for the great variety of creatures in the facility.

The Details: You will scuba dive with whale sharks in the largest habitat at the Aquarium so long as you are twelve years old and you must be scuba certified.  We are allowed to bring into the water only a personal swimsuit and mask, the aquarium provides everything else. Once the limited spaces are gone, they are all gone! Our group will dive on Saturday afternoon, and non-divers will be escorted by Aquarium staff for the best viewing of the divers. On our previous trips, many of the travelers arrived Thursday (requires one extra night hotel $175 total) for an extra long weekend.

Packages will include:

• Annual Pass for unlimited visits to Georgia Aquarium
• Behind the Scenes Tour for those not participating in the in-water tours
• Two nights with two paying people in room (a.k.a. "double occupancy") at Downtown Hilton Garden Inn (walking distance from the Aquarium)
• Special group dinner at Legal Seafood Restaurant on Friday evening.  This location has been tested and approved by our travel expert Dave.  It is attached to the Hotel, so it can't get any closer!
• One session of scuba diving with whale sharks (includes mini behind the scenes tour)

• Adult diver: $675
• Single Supplement $175 (one adult, no roommate for hotel portion)
• Adult with no in-water tour: $355
• Youth diver (12-16 years old, sharing a room with 2 paying adults): $489
• Youth with no in-water tour (under age 17, sharing a room with 2 paying adults): $139
• Additional night available, for $175

Our hotel is at Centennial Olympic Park right in the middle of terrific stuff and adjacent to Georgia's Aquarium. Most of the following are within walking distance or a short drive:

Atlanta is a lively, interesting city with an incredible variety of opportunities for fun during this weekend. That being said, it's been said that it can take two days to truly experience the enormity of this aquarium. If you want to add more time in Atlanta for additional experiences, contact us for arrangements for extra nights.
