Diving & Accommodations:
We have chartered Tobermory’s best dive boats for two-tank trips on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and reserved them so that you may add dives on Friday and Saturday afternoon. Night dives are available from shore (free) or dive boat (extra cost) on Friday and Saturday evenings. Sites we have visited include Niagara II, Newaygo, Philo Scoville, King, San Jacinto, City of Cleveland, Wetmore, Sweepstakes, Arabia, and the Caves (or Grottoes). Shore diving on “The Tugs” and at “Lighthouse Point” is unlimited. Multiple boats help novice and experienced divers to dive with others of similar ability levels, increasing everyone's enjoyment. Our accommodations are in Little Tub Harbour (a four-minute walk to your dive boat and the harbor shops and restaurants), and your package includes Friday and Saturday night hotel rooms.

Non-Diving Activities:
Tobermory is at the tip of Ontario’s gorgeous Bruce Peninsula. Family and non-diving activities abound, including nature and hiking trails, glass-bottom boat tours to the shipwrecks and the rock formations of Flowerpot Island, golf, shopping, canoeing and kayaking, a historical walking tour, a lighthouse, and the Chi-Cheemaun ferry to Manitoulin Island. This is small-town Northern Ontario. Bring your hiking boots!

Costs and Options:

All rates are per person and based upon double occupancy. All rooms are non-smoking. A $75 deposit (nonrefundable) will hold your space and the balance must be paid by June 6, at which point all monies become non-refundable.

Diver package $388:
  • The standard diver package includes the four boat dives, unlimited shore diving, all air fills, two nights lodging, breakfast each morning, and all taxes.
  • Single supplement (get a room for yourself) available for extra $175.
  • Front room upgrade gets you a larger room and a balcony overlooking Little Tub Harbor for $40 per room per night.
  • On a “first-reserved, first-served basis,” choose additional boat diving on Saturday afternoon, one or two dives as time permits, for only $45 per person (prepaid at Huron Scuba)
  • On a first-come, first-served basis, you may rent Huron Scuba’s gear for the weekend, including two tanks, BC, regulator set, weight belt & weights, and wetsuit or drysuit system. Get 25% off regular rental rates.
  • Camping option available - bring your RV & camp locally. In place of standard diver package, pay $309 per person for hotel breakfast and all dives (4 morning dives plus Saturday afternoon dives).
  • Extend your vacation by arriving early or staying late for $180 per room per night, including lodging, breakfast, and taxes.
  • Optional Friday afternoon DEEP DIVE for tech or deep-certified divers, or divers in tech or deep training only, $80 prepaid at Huron Scuba

Non-Diver package $195:

  • Not diving? Package includes two nights lodging, breakfast, and taxes.
  • Single supplement (get a room for yourself) available for extra $175.
  • Front room upgrade gets you a larger room and a balcony overlooking Little Tub Harbor for $40 per room per night.
Extend your vacation by arriving early or staying late for $180 per room per night, including lodging, breakfast, and taxes.
Extra events planned:
On Friday afternoon, the optional charter DEEP DIVES start at 1:30 pm and the boat is limited to 10 divers. Planned dive sites for Friday afternoon are the Forest City (70'-150') and the Niagara II, so Deep Diver or Tec Deep Diver (as well as redundant air source such as a pony bottle) are mandatory. Deep or tech divers in training also allowed.

Saturday night, the (in)famous Huron Scuba Dive Team movie night at the cottage beside the Tobermory Princess hotel starts at 8:50 pm - let's see if we can beat the standing room only crowd from last year!

Driving Directions:
The Mapquest directions might confuse some, ESPECIALLY WITHIN ONTARIO, so we offer the following.

Get to Port Huron and go over the bridge. You will be in the left lane off the two-lane exit off I-94. The right lane is for trucks only. Pay your $1.50 and stay left on the bridge, watch for the changing signs midway over the bridge for which lane you may use.

Once in Ontario, go straight out 402 towards London (you will go 36 km). There is construction for several miles. Right after that ends, there is an exit for 21 North (also is towards Forest and The Pinery Provincial Park). You will be on 21 north for about 2.5-3 hours. Watch it, it makes sharp turns in two cities. Once you start driving east, after Port Elgin, you will go about 20 more minutes, through Elsinore, Allensford, and then right as you see a cluster of Alvanley signs, there is "10 North." Take that left turn and you will immediately see a sign for 99 km to Tobermory.  10 North turns into Highway 6 north. You'll be in Toberymory a little over an hour after that sign - turn right at the Diver's Den and you will be in the Little Tub Harbor area. If you skip 10 north, you will go through Jackson then Sprimmount, where you turn north onto highway 6.

For driving home, the record time home on last year's trip followed this route: Skip Sarnia, and head directly for Windsor and the Ambassador Bridge, linking up to I-94 in Detroit.
