When you travel with the Huron Scuba Dive Team, you can be assured that you are joining a trip that is fully researched & planned to
ensure everything goes smoothly so you can enjoy your hard-earned vacation without worrying about the details. We choose dive operators,
resorts, and itineraries that will give you the best value and service for your dollar. We seek quality service, diving freedom, and
comfortable accommodations. Our experienced trip leaders escort each group to take care of any last-minute hassles and to coordinate
the group’s activities. You’re welcome to participate in scheduled activities & join the other Dive Team travelers for meals &
socializing, or you are free to operate “on your own,” joining the group just for diving. The quality of our trips is best demonstrated
by those Dive Team members who travel with us year after year, to a variety of destinations.
Many of these trips would be great opportunities to complete your
Open Water Certification dives,
Advanced class, or Specialty
certification like
Underwater Photography.

Have something different in mind? Huron Scuba maintains an extensive library of travel guides, dive magazines, and personal references
about dive travel. If we haven’t been there ourselves, we can give you advice on your destination from someone who has been there!
Email us with where you’d like to go, & we’ll do our best to help you set up the trip of a lifetime.

Join the Huron Scuba Dive Team on its Fun
Dive schedule with over thirty local events
year-round. These include simple Thursday
evening dives, organized quarry dives,
chartered boat diving to the well-preserved
shipwrecks of The Great Lakes, and trips to
other diving related events. Join our
weekend trips to Great Lakes destinations
like Tobermory, Ontario,
the
Straits of Mackinac,
and
Alpena, Michigan. All
are a half day drive or less from Ann Arbor. |

Besides the historical shipwrecks of the
Great Lakes, there's some awesome diving in
the USA and Canada. Favorite
destinations include: Bonne Terre Mine in
Missouri; the Florida Keys, Springs, and
Cave systems; the kelp forests of coastal
California (north and south); shipwrecks of
New York, New Jersey, and the Carolinas; the
"Emerald Sea" of Vancouver, and much more.
Some dives may be better suited to a drysuit
than a diveskin, but what you'll experience
is well worth it! |

It's great to escape to the tropical
breezes, laid back atmosphere, and beautiful
reefs of the Caribbean. Some
destinations are an easy long weekend with
direct flights from Detroit and Chicago,
while others are better suited to a full
week's vacation. Join us to perennial
favorites like Bonaire, Cozumel and the
Cayman Islands, or explore less-traveled
islands like Dominica, Grand Turk, and
Roatan. Each islands has its own "flavor;"
there's bound to be one that feels perfect
for you.

There's a reason that some people judge
diving based on the "Caribbean scale" and
the "Worldwide scale." Closer to the
birthplace of coral reefs, you'll simply
experience more color, variety, and quantity
of tropical fish, invertebrates, and corals
than you ever can in the Caribbean.
You've got to go to the Pacific at least
once to see clownfish in their natural home,
sea snakes winding their shy way through
waving soft corals, and giant cod resting
under table corals. The Great Barrier
Reef, Fiji, Palau, Truk Lagoon, Yap, Papua
New Guinea are some of our favorites. |

At Huron Scuba, we’ll use our years of experience to put together a package with the best value for your vacation time and
money. We personally visit the resorts and dive with the dive operators, and can recommend which ones to go with – and which
ones to avoid! Send us e-mail, or stop by, and we can book your complete package for you.
