Diving in the Northeastern Caribbean will
surprise you - it's not mentioned often in the
mainstream diving magazines, but the variety of the
topography and types of sites that we visit weekly will
amaze you!
Saba, known for its submerged offshore pinnacles,
is the 5 square mile top of a dormant volcano towering
3,000 feet above the surface and surrounded by volcanic
sand. The abrupt topography above the sea is mirrored
below, and the profusion of marine life attests to the
early institution of the Saba Marine Park in 1987.
Statia (St. Eustatius) has a history as illustrious as
any, and the wrecks and reefs in her waters are
well-preserved by the Statia Marine Park.
St. Kitts offers arguably the widest variety of sites -
finger reefs, recent wrecks, and a variety of drop-offs
that will capture your imagination.
The
Caribbean Explorer II accommodates 18 passengers in
air-conditioned staterooms with private bathrooms and
showers. The upper deck contains the semi-enclosed
dining and entertainment area. The open rear sundeck is
furnished with lounges for sunbathing; the carpeted bow
provides another convenient and quiet area for sunning.
For $1595 per person, the Caribbean Explorer package
includes 5 dives daily, including night dives and ample
time for guests to explore the islands. Three meals will
be provided daily. Group package airfare is available
for additional $760 per person.
