Let the fun and excitement begin! This is a great intro to basic snorkeling skills for families about to head out on a warm-water vacation. Learn the safe way to snorkel before you go - and learn how to select gear to make sure you have fun!

You'll participate in interactive classroom discussions and pool sessions (including water games) by experienced teachers. Upon completion you are ready for snorkeling with added confidence and safety anywhere in the world.

Huron Scuba offers trips for snorkelers as well as divers - for a truly memorable experience, join our trip to snorkel with humpback whales at the Silver Bank sanctuary and calving grounds north of the Dominican Republic.

Prerequisites	Open to anyone with basic swimming skills.
Minimum age	6 years. Children under 10 must be accompanied in the water by a parent or guardian.
Class size	Limit 8 students.
Classroom location	Huron Scuba.
Pool location	Forsythe or Slauson pools in Ann Arbor.
Open water location	None.
Equipment provided by student	Personal snorkeling equipment, if you own it, or use Huron Scuba's rental equipment (included in class fee).
Equipment provided by Huron Scuba	First aid and emergency oxygen kits.  Snorkeling equipment and wetsuits, as requested.
Course cost	$59.95 per student.  Includes use of snorkeling equipment. If you purchase mask, snorkel, & fins while enrolled, save $10 on equipment purchase.
