Have a terrific time diving off Sarnia and/or Port Huron in this special River Diver specialty program. River diving is a popular way to keep diving year-round, as the rivers rarely freeze, and is a great way to hunt artifacts both locally in the Great Lakes region and in fossil-rich areas like the Cooper River in South Carolina.

The River Diver course teaches you to safely carry out dives in rivers with low (or sometimes no, if a freighter goes overhead in the St. Clair River!) visibility. Topics covered include specific hazards, techniques, equipment modifications, dive planning, and contingency plans.  At least 3 dives included.

Equipment provided by student	Personal snorkeling equipment (must own) and complete scuba diving equipment (may rent or own). Each diver must own required specialty equipment: river tool.
Equipment provided by Huron Scuba	First aid and emergency oxygen kits.
Course cost	$249 per student.  Equipment rental, air fills, park admission fees additional. Border crossing into Canada may be required.
