What happens if your regulator has a
minor leak or mild freeflow, or your BCD
dump valve has a small leak? Can you fix
it and save your dives that day, or do
you have to sit and watch everyone
else's bubbles until the boat gets back
& hope someone knows how to fix it on
shore?
Do you want to expand your
knowledge and be more self-reliant when
it comes to your life support and dive
equipment?
Join our Service
Manager Joe Cloutier for Huron Scuba's
advanced equipment specialist and regulator repair
workshop. In this class you will learn how
to troubleshoot common gear problems and
complete simple field repairs on BCDs,
regulators and drysuits. As part of this
class we will discuss tips on how to maintain and
troubleshoot your equipment between
scheduled maintenance intervals. We will
also be servicing regulators, doing a
visual inspection on a cylinder, and
servicing a cylinder valve. With 16
hours of class and hands-on time over 2
days, we will help you learn just about
everything you could want to know about
scuba gear and how it funcstions. This
is a great way to spend a couple of days
with other divers, dive professionals or
self-procalimed gear junkies who want to
know more.
Feel free to bring in your personal
gear for use in the hands-on portion of
the class.
Each class is geared to each
particular group, so come prepared with
some questions or some specific thing
you want to get out of this class and we
will do our best to help you meet your
goals.
The certification from this class can
also be credited as one of the 5 required
