Apply your scuba skills as you explore new dive sites and activities with your Instructor. Gain more confidence & capability in the important skills of buoyancy control, navigation, dive planning, & accident prevention!

This course is designed for newly certified divers as well as novice or moderately experienced divers who want to take the next step in their dive education. The course consists of on-site extensive briefings, 6 supervised dives, & debriefings. Required dives: navigation, deep, & night, plus 3 electives.

The PADI Advanced Scuba Diver course includes the first dive towards up to 5 different specialty certifications – so after you complete the PADI Advanced Scuba Diver certification, you may already have one dive credited towards specialties such as Dry Suit Diver, Search & Recovery Diver, Underwater Navigator, Wreck Diver, and Deep Diver! Huron Scuba's PADI Specialty Diver Weekends will include a variety of these dives as well as exciting specialties such Digital Underwater Photographer, Underwater Videographer, Night Diver, and more. Prerequisites	Open Water Scuba Diver Certification or Junior Open Water Certification.
Minimum age	10 years. Ages 10-14 will earn Junior certification
Class size	Minimum 3, maximum 8 students per instructor.
Classroom location	Huron Scuba.
Pool location	None.
Open water location	Varies, see schedule.
Equipment provided by student	Personal snorkeling equipment (must own) and complete scuba diving equipment (may rent). Required specialty equipment to own: primary, backup, and marker lights, dive slate, cutting tool.
Equipment provided by Huron Scuba	Emergency first aid and oxygen kits.
Course cost	$245 per student.  Consider taking Nitrox and Drysuit at the same time and get Nitrox class free!
Required books & materials	PADI Adventures in Diving Manual (w/slate) ($49.99)

Additional expenses	Rental equipment, air fills, charter fees (if applicable), park admission and parking fees.
